The Don Blue Yachting family, celebrating the successful completion of the 2024 season, decided to commemorate the collaboration and dedication of all its members in a unique way. On December 14th, captains and staff from all over Greece gathered at the historic Skouras Winery for an event that combined the pleasure of wine with strengthening bonds among colleagues.
A comfortable van picked up all participants from the center of Athens, marking the beginning of a journey filled with joy and anticipation towards Nemea. The approximately 1.5-hour journey provided an opportunity for captains and staff to chat, exchange experiences, and create new memories.
Upon arriving at the winery, we were greeted by a world filled with aromas and flavors. A specialized guide took us on a magical journey through the world of wine, introducing us to the winery’s history, vineyards, and the production process from start to finish. We explored the impressive cellar where wines mature in wooden and clay barrels, acquiring unique characteristics.
Following this, we embarked on an exciting wine tasting, sampling a variety of white and red wines paired with exquisite cheeses and cured meats. Our guide analyzed the unique flavors and aromas of each wine, revealing the secrets of its production.
The subsequent meal was yet another surprise. In a specially designed area, we savored traditional flavors, such as pot-roasted meat, accompanied by the winery’s finest wines. The dessert that concluded the meal was the perfect finishing touch to an unforgettable day.
The visit to the Skouras Winery was much more than a simple event. It was an opportunity for the Don Blue Yachting family to express their gratitude for the successful season and strengthen the bonds among its members.
